From Nagoya Castle, our brief sojourn continues by visiting Osu street. This long strip may be compared to a "tiangge". Being the most popular place in Nagoya, Osu Kanon is the uncontested place for shopping, hanging out and visiting temples. Here you can find shops on both side of the street, from latest electronics, trendy cellphones, eatery and chic clothes. This covered street also serves as a modelling ramp for young guys and gal fashonistas showing off their trendy outfits and latest fashion. The street leads us also to two important places here in Nagoya, the Osu Kanon Temple and Bansho-ji Shrine which could be seen on the next post.
