FRANCIS M, 1964-2009

A friend back home informed me that Francis Magalona a.k.a. Francis M succumbed to death from a Leukemina. Having grown up with his music along with the re-birth of Pinoy patriotism, I find it hard to believe his immediate passing.

What "The Mouth" strike me most were the type of music he introduced, entrenched with patriotic lines that brings up Pinoy hip-hop nationalist genre.

I could still recall the strut and breakdancing showdown between a friend Jonas Braza et. al vs. Francis M and company at that time were guest to a dance contest at White Rock. Although the two main characters of that event have now gone, it is just fitting to dedicate this post for the person "gone too soon".
